What is Instream?
Instream is a managed internet connectivity service for live-streamed sports events. We provide portable field kits, onsite setup, real-time monitoring, and support — so your streams have a stronger, more reliable connection behind them.
Do you replace our cameras or streaming platform?
No. Instream is not a camera platform and not a streaming app. We provide the internet connection behind the cameras and streaming systems your event already uses.
What camera systems work with Instream?
Instream supports Wi-Fi-connected livestream systems including Veo, Hudl, Trace, BallerTV, and other compatible setups.
How many streams can one field kit support?
Each field kit supports up to 3 simultaneous live streams.
Is data included?
Yes. Data is bundled into the service — there's no separate data bill.
Do the field kits need external power?
No. Battery power is included, so the field kits don't require an outlet during the event.
Do you provide onsite setup and support?
Yes. We bring the equipment onsite, set it up, monitor performance during the event, and handle the wrap-up when it's done.
Where do you operate?
We serve events across the continental United States.
How much notice do you need?
At this stage, we ask for about one month of lead time for deployment planning.
Is this a long-term contract?
No. Instream is offered as an event-based service — no minimum term, no ongoing commitment.
What if the weather turns bad during the event?
Our field kits are built for outdoor use. The antenna and battery enclosures are sealed and rated for rain, dust, and temperature swings. If the event itself pauses for severe weather (e.g., a lightning delay), the kits stay operational onsite and we resume streaming when play resumes.
